Who you believe Jesus is will dictate how Jesus works in your life. If you believe He is a great philosopher then He is not your Savior but just another guy with some cool ideas. If you believe He was a great teacher then He was another rabbi in a long list of rabbis. If you believe He is just another god among many gods then you have not believed what He said about Himself in the Holy Bible.
Nowadays many people and even churches want Jesus to be what they want Him to be and not who or what He is. But are we willing to accept who and what Jesus said about Himself? Are we willing to believe and not twist it? Are we willing to live by who Jesus really is? Can we accept Jesus on His terms and not ours? If we can accept Jesus on His terms then our faith in Him will wash our sins away and give us eternal life in Heaven.
Now, who is Jesus? First, the Son of the Living God Yahweh and the second part of the Holy Trinity. Secondly, the Holy Savior of this world and the people who believe in Him and what He has done to redeem them.

Matthew 16:13-18The Message (MSG)
13 When Jesus arrived in the villages of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “What are people saying about who the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some think he is John the Baptizer, some say, Elijah, some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”
15 He pressed them, “And how about you? Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter said, “You’re the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17-18 Jesus came back, “God bless you, Simon, son of Jonah! You didn’t get that answer out of books or from teachers. My Father in heaven, God himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am.
Prayer: Dear Lord, please let me know Jesus as the real Son of God and Savior of those who believe in Him as He has said, amen.
