We all have different ways to communicate in this world and my best way is writing. Writing allows me to clearly articulate my thoughts and feelings and the way I see life. Could I ever be a famous author, columnist, or blogger I do not know but I do hope I can at least reach a few people with my craft as a wordsmith. I have wondered the last few weeks to myself, "Do I really have anything to say that has not been said?" Yet I have this burning inside that I must still write and some belief that I must be heard. Now is this ego or narcissism or simply a desire to try and make the world better by sharing what feels like inspiration from Heaven to share here back here on planet earth? Write and write I must and in so doing I hope to bless you the reader. Thank you for taking the time to read my posts.
I have been thinking about the shooting in Charleston, South Carolina at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and how sad and tragic that a human being can become so disconnected to the sanctity of life. Where did this hate come from and why was he on psychotropic drugs? Taking away guns will not stop a person like this because they will just find another means to kill or get a black market gun. The death penalty will come into play here and that brings up the other issue of proper justice for the crime involved. Do we say we will kill you because you are not to kill? Can a person like this be redeemable? Are we all getting numb to this kind of crime because it is happening more frequently?
I have always believed that coming to Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and learning His ways of living in this world is the only and final answer to this fallen world. I know to some this is far too simple an answer to the evil in this world. But it is an answer that I have seen many times over that has worked healing and reconciliation in people's lives and various communities. Allowing Jesus into your life and then committing to pray and study the Holy Bible consistently one can truly live as a follower of Jesus as the Holy Spirit takes over one's life for the better. Finding a Christ-centered church to help you live out a strong faith in a community can be a joyous life-giving boost to your life in Jesus.
John the Baptist was a man crying out in the wilderness that the world needed to repent of their sins and accept Yahwah's Savior which was Jesus Christ and many thought he was a crazy man. I believe my voice is to be a voice crying out in cyberspace directed by Jesus to cry out to the world, how badly the world needs Jesus Christ... some will even think I am crazy too.
