Every year in the Christian Calendar we have Lent which is a time of deep reflection on our relationship with God. The last week of this eight week time period is called Holy Week with special worship services reminding us of the last week of Jesus mortal life on earth and His march to the cross and then His resurrection which is the holiest day of the year nest to Christmas. May we strive to always reflect on our walk with Jesus.
Daniel 9:24Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
24 Seventy weeks are decreed
about your people and your holy city—
to bring the rebellion to an end,
to put a stop to sin,
to atone for iniquity,
to bring in everlasting righteousness,
to seal up vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most holy place.
about your people and your holy city—
to bring the rebellion to an end,
to put a stop to sin,
to atone for iniquity,
to bring in everlasting righteousness,
to seal up vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most holy place.
Prayer: O'Lord Father, help us to remember to repent of our sins and the sweetness of forgiveness, in Jesus name, amen.
