When you have guests over for dinner do you serve them crumbs and leftovers? I would hope you would not do such a thing. But when it comes to serving the church or serving the Lord Jesus do we give Him just our crumbs and leftovers? Are we not taught in the Holy Bible to give the best of the first fruits of our labor? Let us try and give our best and not the crumbs of change in our pocket (that is not the first fruits of our labor) and not just out leftover time to the Lord and His church.
Mark 14:3New King James Version (NKJV)
3 And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.
Prayer: O'Lord, may we have the heart to give our best to You, amen.
